Liverpool Boiler Room launched at Strawberry Field

10th November 2005

Four months after its closure, the Liverpool children's home that became world-famous after The Beatles' 1967 hit Strawberry Fields Forever has just re-opened its doors as 24-7 Prayer's Liverpool Boiler Room -- operated in association with the Salvation Army, who own the site.

As reported in icLiverpool, "the building has been re-vamped to house eight prayer rooms, including a multi-purpose meeting room, and a 'chill out' meditation room. It also houses an art studio where local painters, sculptors, musicians and performers will be encouraged to display spiritually motivated work."
