Hello -- my name's poppy. I'm a little bit obsessed about the Beatles and I love going to see tribute bands. There, I've said it. It's not really such a bad way to be -- we all need a hobby, right? Well this is one hobby that keeps me out of trouble and in the last six months has taken me from one end of the UK to the other -- from Brighton and Folkestone on the South coast of England right up to Glasgow -- and back again -- in the quest to enjoy the music of the Beatles, live.

This site isn't intended to be a comprehensive resource for all the Beatles bands out there, nor is it a site solely dedicated to the Beatles -- there will be news and reviews about other bands and their music here too -- but there will usually be some kind of connection, however tenuous.

There are doubtlessly better Beatles news sites out there and if you're looking for info on the bands I talk about here then you should visit the bands' own sites, some of which are very good indeed. This is just an excuse for me to mess around with CSS and a place for me to collect together news stories about the Beatles, Beatles bands and other tribute bands that interest me -- and a place to record my memories and photos from gigs that I've enjoyed.
